Since our establishment as a high-end printing company in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1934 by Lode Blondé, we have evolved into a multifaceted global provider of services in the marketing communications industry. We have achieved this by adopting and adapting the latest communication technologies from analog printing machines, through the early digital offerings to the very latest state-of-the art IT and design service.

After nearly 40 years of producing some of the finest art books in French and Flemish for the Belgian and French markets, we realized it was time to move into further and future markets. Frans Blondé, the second company president, made the decision in the 1970s to start providing multilingual marketing communication materials for major Japanese companies that were expanding into Europe.
Blondé’s first two Japanese clients were Mitsubishi Motor Corporation and Ricoh—both of which, Blondé is proud to say, are still clients today—and these were soon followed by others, including Toyota, Panasonic and Shimano. Now, more than 40 years after Frans Blondé’s first visited Japan, and with a solid Japanese client base, the Company is still building partnerships and forging relationships in Japan.
In the early 1990s, Blondé began providing the same services to Korean companies such as KIA and Hyundai. Now, under Stefan Blondé, the third company president, Blondé has established a presence in China, and has opened an office in the US to handle its expanding presence there.
Presently, we are a multinational team of more than 30 people with cross-platform talents operating in growth markets on the strength of our pan-European roots. We manage a global network of hands-on and creative workers and partners that are driven to make content flow according to our concept of Mastering Liquid Content.
Liquid content is next generation information that no longer comprises just static data. It is content that changes and flows according to the needs and desires of the client. Therefore it is easier to reuse, access, edit and publish through whatever channel the client chooses! In other words, Liquid Content is all about user experience, instantly customized information and interactivity.
